Design & Fabrication – Lithium R&D Caster
Process melts lithium and other minerals into an ingot that is then sent to a pilot plant to study the effectiveness of different recipes in making cathodes for car batteries.
Hargrove’s design transfers the molten material automatically from the melting chamber to the ingot mold using inert Argon gas.
